Lighting for Real Estate Photography is always a challenge. In the photographs above I use a single off-camera flash synced with my pocket wizards. I need to take a photo of my new assistant who made this possible and post some more information about them.

I probably only spent about 5 minutes post-processing each photograph so with some tender love I could get the color balance and saturation equal and even in all shots.

The kitchen is always my most favorite part of a home to photograph due to the character and let’s face it, most of our time is spent in the kitchen.

Attention to detail and always looking for the best angles of a home I can be in and out of your home or property in a couple of hours and have the images ready for you in a matter of days if not less.

I am not limited to working with real estate agents and brokers and welcome for sale by owner calls as well. Maybe you just want some professional photographs of your home to share with friends, family, or insurance. I am available most afternoons and always on weekends.

So are you a color photograph lover or do you prefer black and white? While most will argue that there is a place for each, I personally enjoy the complex depth of a black and white image. When on an assignment I am often asked to capture at least one moment in black and white to see if it tells the story that the client wants conveyed. So which do you prefer? Color or black and white? As a photographer I lean hard towards the depth of contrast in a desaturated image. However, I think rich and vibrant colors captured with light can be just as inspiring to the beholder.
